JFFoS (Japanese-French Frontiers of Science) Symposium
Frontiers of Science (FoS) symposiums are one of the programs that the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science carries out jointly with partner institutions in other countries for the purpose of fostering young researchers. These symposiums bring together excellent young researchers from Japan and counterpart countries in a highly diverse cross-disciplinary environment, in which they brainstorm topics on the cutting edge of science in ways that crisscross and transcend the borders of academic domains.
JSPS holds Japanese-French Frontiers of Science (JFFoS) symposiums in partnership with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
Participants’ Eligibility
To qualify for participation in the FoS program, researchers must have received their doctorate and be age 45 or younger as of 1 April of the year the symposium is held or have received their doctorate within the past 15 years.
